Summer is coming to an end and before we know it the Holiday Season will be upon us. It is not too early to start thinking about those holiday gifts.
One of the most popular gifts are always gaming systems. From young children to adults, there are gaming systems for nearly everyone.
For families and younger kids and early teens the older model XBOX 360 is a good choice. Cost is lower than newer consoles but still a wide variety of games available. There are more less violent games available for the 360 model than newer consoles. This older model would make a good starter XBOX.
For the older teens through serious gamers, XBOX ONE and XBOX ONE S are top choices. Models offer more storage and better graphics.
Sony offers the PlayStation 2, 3, 4 and PRO. As with XBOX, the older models such as 2 and 3 will save you money and be more family and younger children oriented. PlayStation 4 for the more serious gamers.
Nintendo has recently released the SWITCH, this is the replacement for the WII U. Excellent game system for much younger children. Most of the Nintendo line up of game systems is very family friendly.
If you are a gamer yourself, then selecting a new system for yourself will be easy. If you are shopping for someone else, it might be a good idea to some research into their gaming preferences. Find out what they have currently and upgrade them to newest console. If buying for younger children, look for a good starter system for them. Some of the newest models can be complicated for younger kids and have less options in games.
When purchasing a gaming system, always make sure you know what accessories are needed, such as, controllers, memory cards, or accounts needed.
